Find the Best Cuts at These Dallas Butcher Shops

If you’re looking for the best cuts of meat, skip the grocery store and head to a local butcher instead. These shops specialize in meat and offer a wider variety of cuts and specialty items. Check out these butcher shops located near your downtown Dallas apartments:

Deep Cuts

Deep Cuts offers a modern take on the old neighborhood butcher shop. It was born out of a love for the craft and the meat comes from area farmers. Butcher Matt Abeyta apprenticed here in Dallas before learning from the experts in Europe. He’s known for his homemade sausage and enjoys helping everyone with their dinner plans. The selection includes Wagyu chuck roast, ribeye steak, and pork belly.

Cooper’s Meat Market

Established in 1997, Cooper’s Meat Market has become a leading supplier of Certified Angus Beef Prime. The meat is cut to order, and the knowledgeable butchers will offer cooking tips so you can impress your family and friends. The selection includes flat iron steak, boneless short ribs, and Porterhouse.

Cooper’s is renowned for its dine-in restaurant. It’s open for lunch and dinner, and the chefs prepare the meat to perfection. Try the juicy chophouse burger with a loaded baked potato.

The Meat Shop

The Meat Shop is a European-style butcher where the motto is “From Cowboy to Consumer.” It’s the retail shop for the all-natural Wagyu beef produced by the Rosewood Ranch. The ranch is located in Ennis, and the cattle are born, raised, and harvested in Texas. Meats include ground beef, short ribs, and tenderloin. Shoppers also find a selection of rotating cheeses such as Drunken Goat and Deep Ellum Blue.

The Meat Shop also offers a prepared menu featuring hot sandwiches and garden salads.
