Dog Parks In Dallas Perfect For Spring

One of the most enjoyable weekend activities as spring brightens our lives is bringing man’s best friend out for a walk. Thankfully, there are plenty near our Dallas apartments. Classic parks, dog parks, and even one unique cantina:  these are three dog parks in Dallas to enjoy a Saturday with your best friend.

Griggs Park

Griggs Park is not a dog park, but a regular park. The park opens a 6 am and closes at 11 pm every day. Griggs Park has eight acres of land to create a safe fun environment. There are plenty of pet stations for your furry friends, large grass areas to run through, and a nice cement walking trail to enjoy a morning walk on.

Bark Park Central

Bark Park is located on the southwest intersection of Good-Latimer Expressway and Commerce Street. The park is open from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. except for Tuesdays and rainy days. Bark Park is aimed at creating a fun dog-oriented space for Dallas residents. There is a 1.2-acre “off-leash” area for the dogs to burn off some energy with drinking areas and even a dog shower. While there take a minute to appreciate all the creative dog-styled artwork.

Mutts Canine Cantina

Mutts Cantina is located at 2889 City Place West Blvd Dallas, Texas 75204.  The dog park is open daily from 5:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m., and the cantina with kitchen service opens at 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 4:00 p.m. during the weekend. Mutts offer two separate parks: one for small breeds and one for large breeds. Take the opportunity to enjoy a Mutts “Barkarita” and one of their mouth-watering burgers.

After checking out these fun dog parks in Dallas, be sure to grab a chicken sandwich from nearby restuarants. If you want to become a resident of our Dallas apartments, then contact us. We cannot wait to see you stop by for your tour.
