Dallas Watersports Spots Perfect For Summer Fun

Dallas is full of beautiful lakes, rivers, and reservoirs that are great for your daily dose of nature. Sightseeing isn’t the only thing to do at these spots though. Residents of The Christopher are never too far from Dallas watersports like boating and boarding. Here are some of the best spots by our Dallas apartments where you can take to the water.

SUP NTX is one of the most worthwhile attractions in North Texas. This family-owned business has been providing quality service since 2009. This is the spot you should head to if you want to cruise through a river while staying in the city. You have a choice between stand-up paddleboards and kayaks. Launch from the Mandalay Canal and witness the city skylines from Lake Carolyn.

Trammell Crow Park

Trammell Crow Park is located a short trip away from our apartments. The park hugs the Trinity River and has so many attractions. It’s a great place to run, picnic, play sports, and more. Of course, you can also take a boat out onto the launch point on the river. It’s a popular spot for kayakers, as the Trinity River is one of the most stunning sights around. You’ll pass the gorgeous city skyline, the park greenery, and the park’s famous stone cows.

White Rock Paddle Co.

White Rock Paddle Co. just opened up for the 2021 season and locals couldn’t be happier. Take the short trip to the astonishing White Rock Lake and you’ll find this gem. You can take out a paddleboard or opt for a single or tandem kayak. This is the perfect way to experience the Lake and its park. You’ll surely have a serene experience and want to come back for more.

Check out the White Rock Lake Trail and these other nature walks in the area. For more local suggestions and lifestyle tips, visit our blog. To join our apartments in Dallas, please contact us to schedule a tour.
