Browse through hundreds of archival images from political cartoons to photographs from the early 1900s using the Historical Society’s online collections database. The database also has advanced search options if you’re looking for something in particular. This is a great way to dive into the past with real artifacts.


The Dallas Historical Society’s YouTube channel has videos that will guide you through certain aspects of Dallas history. Learn about historic Texas baseball, the Civil Rights Movement in Dallas, the city’s participation in the Women’s Suffrage Movement, and more. Videos range from a few minutes to over an hour, so no matter how much time you have, you can learn a bit of Dallas history.
