Bite Into the Best Pizza in Dallas

Dallas is home to thousands of restaurants including those that serve piping hot pizza oozing with cheese.

Pizzerias not to be missed include:

Nestled in the West End neighborhood, Tutta’s (pronounced too-tahs) is where the pizza dough is made from scratch and topped with slow smoked meats and fresh vegetables. When Jeremy and Amanda Scott opened the restaurant in 2016, their mission was to offer delicious food, local art, and a place where friends could gather to listen to live music. Tutta’s gained recognition from Diners, Drive-ins & Dives the following year, and Scott has also competed on Guy’s Grocery Games. Specialty pizzas include Smokey Pig, Feelin’ Aloha, and Hot Chick, and they pair well with the cheesy breadsticks.

Pie Tap

At Pie Tap, visitors find a vibrant atmosphere, fabulous meals, and more than 35 taps that pour everything from local craft beer to specialty wine. The chefs use dough that rests and rises for 96 hours and top it with mozzarella and other ingredients such as sausage and sliced-to-order prosciutto. Publications such as Plano Magazine and the Dallas Observer have recognized the restaurant as it also offers friendly service and killer cocktails. The pizzas bake in an Italian oven, and choices include Margherita, veggie, and chicken.

Picasso’s Pizza

For 25 years, Picasso’s has served award-winning pizza. It’s known as the city’s go-to gluten-free restaurant, and the casual dining room comes complete with several flat-screen televisions so guests never miss their favorite sports team in action. Picasso’s is a great place to enjoy a leisurely meal, and everyone receives attentive, friendly service. Pizzas include Hawaiian Vacation, Pepperoni Supreme, and Picasso’s Famous.
